It’s hard to say something convincing about yourself without sounding like a cliché — after all, every photographer wants to present themselves in the best light. However, rather than trying to present myself in such a light, I aim to create with it.
About me
I never formally studied photography, but I’ve loved it since I was a child. Growing up in the countryside, I initially focused on nature photography, capturing various natural life cycles. That led me to candid photography. I enjoyed how these snapshots could tell stories on their own, without a single word being spoken.
Since then, I've been working on perfecting my ability to be in the right place at the right time and create genuine memories - whether on the road, with a camera in hand, or from a drone.
THAT’S WHY I’VE BEEN MAKING A LIVING AS A WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER FOR THE PAST 8 YEARS, SINCE WEDDINGS ARE WHERE I TURN MY TALENT INTO GOLD.
I studied English
My passion for travel is also rooted in my studies, during which I focused on translation and interpreting. Having earned a Master’s degree at the Palacký University, I now use my remaining time to pass on my language knowledge through tutoring. My diploma might not help me much when shooting a wedding, but it does have one clear advantage –

I make music
Who would have guessed that all those piano drills at elementary school would bring me to creating my own music? You could say I have an ear for music. Sometimes, I also play the guitar and compose melodies to accompany videos of my own production. And since I shoot video too,
I can choose music that matches the atmosphere of the video and edit the footage so it flows with the rhythm and enhances its emotion.
By the way, there are still several singles of the music project Bake Until Golden, which I founded, available online. I’ve also collaborated on a number of songs with various other artists. And although I let the project rest in recent years, I teamed up with my lyricist Vojta Vanda and we brought BUG back to life.
