Booking Terms
(effective as of October 8, 2025)
I want our collaboration to be pleasant, transparent, and fair. That’s why I’ve put together these Terms of Collaboration (hereinafter referred to as the “Terms”), which clearly define expectations on both sides and help prevent complications when providing my services.
1. Basic Information & Booking
My name is Mgr. Jiří Kučík, Company ID No. 0584585, and I operate under the Yorge Soren brand. I am not VAT registered.
The date will be reserved upon payment of the issued deposit invoice (hereinafter referred to as the “Deposit”). Upon payment, a contract for services (hereinafter referred to as the “Agreement”) is concluded between us, and all ordered services are governed by these Terms.
2. Date Reservation & Deposit
The reservation becomes binding only after the Deposit has been received (or after proof of payment has been provided). Until then, the date remains available. This is not an additional fee: the Deposit is part of the total price. Once received, I reserve the date exclusively for you and do not accept any other bookings for the same day.
If you cancel or reschedule the date, the Deposit is non-refundable, as it reserves my time and prevents me from accepting other bookings for the same date.
If I am unable to attend on the agreed date due to serious circumstances (such as illness, injury, or other force majeure), I will refund the Deposit in full and, where possible, help you find a suitable replacement.
3. Final Payment & Delivery
I issue and send the final invoice immediately after the wedding day. I begin processing the captured material — including selection, editing, retouching, and film editing — only after the final payment has been received.
Finished photographs (and video, if applicable) are usually delivered within 4–6 weeks after the final payment has been received. Exceptional circumstances (such as illness or injury) may extend the delivery time. If you would like to receive your photographs sooner, expedited processing within 7 days is available for an additional fee.
4. Films & Copyrights
Photographs and videos are my copyrighted work (in accordance with copyright law). I grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable license for their non-commercial use for your personal presentation — without any alterations to the content. Please credit me as the author whenever publishing the material.
5. Wedding Timetable
Please inform me in advance of any changes to the schedule or locations (by email or phone) and make sure all provided addresses are correct. Please note that travel time between locations — such as preparations, ceremony, reception, etc. — is included in the agreed photography/videography coverage time.
6. Travel & Additional Expenses
Travel Expenses: I travel to weddings within the Czech Republic and Slovakia at no additional cost. For destination weddings abroad, travel expenses are calculated individually.
Accommodation: For travel exceeding 2.5 hours, I prefer arriving the day before to ensure complete punctuality and a smooth, stress-free start to the day without the risk of delays. Accommodation is to be covered by you (1 night; for more distant locations, 2 nights may be required).
Meals & Refreshments: In order to work safely and maintain the quality of my services, refreshments must be provided (a shared lunch and dinner with the guests is fully sufficient). If this cannot be arranged, I am entitled to a one-hour break at a time of my choosing.
Entrance fees & permits: Pokud je pro focení na vybraných místech vyžadováno vstupné nebo povolení (např. zámek, muzeum, památka či soukromý pozemek), zajišťujete a hradíte je vy. Nebudou-li povolení včas zajištěna, nenesu odpovědnost za případné zdržení ani za to, že nebude možné focení realizovat v plném rozsahu.
Parking: If parking at the wedding venue is complicated or requires a permit, please arrange a parking space or permit for my vehicle in advance. I am not responsible for delays caused by parking-related issues on the wedding day; any parking fees are to be covered by you.
7. Limitation of Liability
I always do my best to deliver the highest possible quality. However, I am not responsible for lost time or any reduction in quality caused by circumstances beyond my control — such as guests blocking the view, dark or visually unsuitable venues, movement restrictions imposed by the officiant, unfavorable weather conditions, incorrectly provided venue addresses, or unpredictable positioning during key moments (for example, turning your back toward me during the first kiss).
I am not obligated to photograph every guest or deliver every photograph taken during the wedding; if you have any specific requests regarding particular people or details, you must inform me in advance. Retrospective complaints will not be accepted.
If an event occurs that prevents me from providing the agreed services through no fault of my own (such as serious injury, a traffic accident or traffic jam, unexpected vehicle failure, theft or damage to equipment, etc.), my liability is limited to the refund of all payments received for the booked services.
8. Safety
If I am subjected to abusive, threatening, or hostile behavior (or any other situation that endangers me or my equipment), I will first attempt to resolve the issue with you or the wedding coordinator.
If the situation cannot be resolved, I reserve the right to terminate my services early and leave the venue. In such a case, I will deliver all material captured up to the moment the services were terminated. Early termination of the services does not entitle you to a discount or refund.
