Three October days in the Dolomites. Crisp mountain air, the empty winding roads of Passo di Giau, and the long journey to the turquoise Lago di Sorapis. Just ten days earlier, the mountains had been buried beneath a white blanket after a severe snowstorm. In the end, however, the Italian Dolomites revealed their gentler side to us.
