Wedding at Villa Daniela in Valtice

The wedding that left the strongest impression on me at this venue was Sasha and Marcel’s. They exchanged their vows in a charming Czech-English ceremony by the pond with koi fish in the villa’s garden. It was my first time at Villa Daniela, and I was immediately captivated by its atmosphere—especially the lush greenery, which provides a refreshing retreat from the summer heat.
After the traditional breaking of the plate, the celebration continued with a heartfelt reception featuring emotional speeches in both Czech and English. Saša and Marcel envisioned their wedding as a relaxed and joyful occasion, so after lunch, they enjoyed a peaceful moment in a cozy, air-cooled lounge with a sweet bar.
Since Sasha made it clear from the start that she wouldn’t set foot near the Colonnade at Reistna, we opted for a vineyard just a few minutes from the villa for their photo session. Along the way, we captured candid walking shots on a country road, ending with a playful run between the vineyard rows.

If you’re planning a wedding in South Moravia, Villa Daniela will not disappoint. It’s one of the most beautiful locations I’ve had the pleasure of visiting in this region. The venue is ideal for medium-sized weddings of up to 80 guests but is also perfect for more intimate celebrations. For the ceremony, you have several stunning options: the iconic Colonnade at Reistna, the nearby Valtice church, or the castle. And if the weather doesn’t cooperate, the villa’s own wine cellar provides a cozy alternative.
Villa Daniela also offers comfortable accommodations, with rooms and apartments for approximately 50 guests. A major highlight is the villa’s home-style cuisine, guaranteeing an exceptional culinary experience.
